Yukon Dance is a fun and entertaining thing to do in the second semester of the school year, and it’s not just for couples; it’s also for best friends. It’s an evening of dancing to fantastic music, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to take fun pictures with your friends. Yukon Pom is hosting this dance on Valentine’s Day. It’s for both 7th graders and 8th graders. It promises a night filled with fun, friendship, and great memories.
7th and 8th grade thoughts on the dance
7th grades perspective-Mr.Innis
Ryan said, “that he isn’t nervous about the dance, He’s looking forward to it and he’s going to wear a pink tuxedo and go with somebody.” Some of the 7th graders from Mr.Innis’s class think that the 7th graders will act depending on the song. They also think they would be chaotic and happy at the dance. They believe that the 8th graders would be more calm than the 7th graders and that if they were crazy they would be way more crazy than the 7th graders. 2 out of the 6 people interviewed are for sure going to the dance, and 2 others think they might go.
8th grades perspective-Mr.McNeals
Going into Mr. McNeal’s class, students were nervous about the dance. Most people interviewed said that they would be going and few said they were going with a friend. The people that said that they were going, all said they were going to dress nicely. As for their thoughts about the 7th graders, they believe the 7th graders will be irresponsible and crazy at the dance. But for 8th grade, they think they will be better, pretty calm but some bored.
All together, the Yukon Dance promises to be an exciting event filled with laughter and amazing moments for both grades. Even if it’s the nonchalant energy of the 7th graders or the more composed nature of the 8th graders, it’s better to be a night to remember for everyone there.
