School was invented to educate and bring kids of the same age together to get along, but in every good there is always a little bad. The major problems buried in school, with racism being one out of many. Racism is a person humiliating or teasing an individual, solely because of their race. It doesn’t matter what race neither of them are, if someone is stereotyping another person’s race, it is considered racism; even if they are of the same race. Middle school is a place where detecting racism can be challenging but yet extremely easy to spot. Mentions of food, clothing, hairstyles, living areas, grades, eyesight, even pronunciation are all signs of racism. Once one person says something about a kind, it is likely to spread and more students will get the same idea. Research shows from white students’ perspectives on black students that they believe they’re more likely to get suspended or expelled. Surveys such as these can mentally affect and change someone’s life because they’re aware of how people view them. Chronic disease and mental health conditions such as anxiety can be seen in both kids and adults due to racism. Society can easily prevent this from worsening, simply by being kind to everyone and anyone around you without having an idea of how they are. Start stopping all this from spreading.
